With Brexit on the horizon, we want you to know that we are doing all we can to ensure minimum disruption to our order and delivery process.
The time has come to mention the B word. Brexit. We know it has been a trying year for everyone and we hate to bring this up, but it’s important for us to be prepared to ensure that there are no nasty surprises for you, our valued customer.
We are doing everything we can to prepare for whatever the final outcome of the Brexit deal is. We are working closely with our European suppliers to ensure a smooth transition. We have been monitoring the Government and the DEFRA updates and implementing new procedures. Behind the scenes we are busy working hard to ensure the transition is as seamless as possible.
Over the first few weeks we are expecting possible price rises (nothing has been confirmed regarding the expected taxes just yet) and some delays in deliveries coming in from Europe. We are not sure what extra customs checks will be put in place but will keep you updated as we know more. The first month may be a little rocky but we’ll be here to take the knocks and will do all we can to prepare you for potential changes or disruptions to our usual timescales.
Luckily we source our plants from over 60 suppliers. A large number of these suppliers are UK based and we can continue to source plants from these suppliers without any disruptions.
We will keep you posted on any changes that you need to be aware of as they happen and any price increases will be laid out in our initial quotation to you.
We are doing our very best to ensure you hardly notice Brexit at all and we are contactable by email or phone to discuss any questions or concerns you may have.
